Philippines e-Visa for Taiwanese Citizens
Taiwanese passport holders now have simplified entry options for visiting the Philippines, including visa-free travel for short tourism stays and the ability to apply for a Philippine e-Visa online for longer or other types of visits. From 1 July 2025, Taiwan nationals can enter the Philippines without a visa for tourism purposes up to 14 days, provided they hold a passport valid for at least six months, show confirmed accommodation, proof of sufficient funds, and a return or onward ticket; this 14-day entry is non-extendible and non-convertible.
For visits longer than 14 days or for purposes other than tourism (like business, study, or work), Taiwanese travelers still need a visa. In that case, they can apply for a Philippine visa online through the official e-Visa portal, submitting required documents such as a valid passport (with six months’ validity), travel itinerary, proof of finances, and other supporting documents; once approved, the e-Visa must be presented at the point of entry.
Before travel, it’s recommended to check the latest requirements and conditions on the official Philippine e-Visa website to ensure eligibility and meet all entry rules.
