About Company
Manitoba Place – Community Home for Opportunity
Manitoba Place is a long-standing supportive housing residence located in a home-like setting that provides 24-hour supported, long-term housing for adults living with serious mental illness. Established in 1997, Manitoba Place has built a strong reputation within the community for providing a stable, respectful, and supportive living environment where individuals can focus on their recovery and wellbeing.
Operating within the Community Homes for Opportunity (CHO) program, Manitoba Place offers structured housing designed to support adults 18 years and older who are living with serious mental illness or complex mental health challenges and require consistent support to maintain safe and stable housing.
A Home-Like Environment with Meaningful Support
Manitoba Place is intentionally designed to feel like a home rather than an institution. Residents live in a shared, congregate setting where they have access to common living spaces, meals, and supportive staff who are available 24 hours a day.
The goal is to create an environment where individuals can develop stability, build daily living skills, and regain confidence while remaining connected to their community.
Services and Supports Provided
Residents living at Manitoba Place receive a range of supportive services that help them maintain independence while ensuring their health and safety needs are met.
These supports include:
